A vignette upper body portrait of an Acholi chief, identified as Faiso, wearing an animal skin and a cowrie decorated headdress surmounted by a feather or fibre contrasting plume.
The image seems to have been taken sometime in January 1879 when Buchta travelled through Acholi country en route to Bunyoro.
