Description:
Under a shelter a woman kneels on the ground and leans forward as if grinding grain on a surface.
She is wearing bead strings around her waist and neck, as well as a short front apron of fine leather strips.
Her forehead displays the radiating scarifications that many Mandari adopted under influence from their Dinka neighbours, although without the male initiation associations present among the Dinka.
