Description:
A sleeping hut, cattle byre (luak) and probably a cooking shelter to the right.
Huts of village homesteads were made more solidly than those of the cattle camp, using stakes for walls, although in these huts they have not been mud plastered.
The cattle and some of the older male youths spent the night in the byre (luak) with a dung fire burning in the centre.
This helped to keep biting insects away from the cattle to a certain extent during the rainy season.
