Description: 
Looking across the wide river with trees growing along its banks. 
The land either side of this river is flat and without banks and so becomes flooded quickly in the rains. 
Evans-Pritchard was based on the river for the early part of his first field trip in 1930, before moving eastwards to Lou country.
