Description:
Two women, one seemingly breast-feeding a toddler, sit underneath a shelter or granary on a mat, with some crops, probably ground-nuts, on the floor nearby.
The woman in the foreground has her hair shaved at the sides to leave a central section.
In the section of cultivation seen beyond are stalks of ripening millet.
Since groundnuts and some millet were harvested in August and September, this suggests that these women are taking a break from harvesting activity probably during the hottest part of the day.
