A full length portrait of a man in the uniform of the Anglo-Egyptian Condominium authority (1899-1955) wearing a belted tunic and a hat with regimental plume.
Beyond him is a long stone and brick built rectilinear building with a large thatched roof, perhaps soldiers' quarters? In the doorway can be seen two women in European dresses, one holding a baby.
