Description:
A portrait of two youths, one standing leaning on a club, the other seated not looking at the camera.
Another similar image of these two youths was published with a caption that points out that this image also shows a sandy ridge with cattle byres visible on the horizon.
Settlement was concentrated on such ridges to avoid seasonal flooding.

1936 October - November
Region:

Notes:
There would seem to be three Rolleiflex films identified as no.
8 in the Nuer series, which I have identified based upon differences in the handwritten style of enumerating the number 8 on the print reverses, as well as on visual content.
