Description:
A man seated in a squat position rubbing a stick (the saw) between his hands to produce fire by friction with another piece of wood beneath (the hearth).
He is identified as Adumfa, one of Evans-Pritchard's Ingessana informants, and is wearing sandals as well as neck ornaments.
