Description:
To the left is a hut in the village of Pochala, with what looks like a canvas tent next to it, presumably Evans-Pritchard's.
He notes that in this village he lived near a noble called Aguaa-wa-Medho, who homestead this may be.
Evans-Pritchard estimated the village to have a population of between 500-1000 in 1935, and although being the main settlement of the significant Jowatcuaa clan, it had no headman of its own.
