Description:
An upper body profile portrait of an Avokaya man with feather ornamented hair pin and bead strings around the neck.
His upper lip is pierced by a thin metal ring ornament.
Buchta made an excursion to eastern Zande and Avokaya country setting out from Juba on 7th July and returning there on 26th August 1879.
