A head-and-shoulders portrait of a Madi youth with an identification number (214) hanging on a backdrop behind.
These numbers were used by the Seligman's for identifying and cataloguing the numerous physical anthropology images they took.
The image was possibly taken at Bor, since they mention that they used a Madi informant there who was connected with the mission run by Archdeacon Shaw.
