Description:
Finger ring formed from a single brass rod, oval in section, bent into a loop with the ends touching. One end has been slightly flattened. It is complete and intact, and the surface has been polished to a metallic yellow colour (Pantone 871C). The ring has an outer diameter of 21.5 mm, an internal diameter of 17 mm, while the rod from which it has been formed is 2 mm wide and 3 mm thick and weighs 3.1 grams.

Collected by Percy Horace Gordon Powell-Cotton and his wife Hannah at Navera on 8th April 1933, during a shooting expedition.

These finger rings are worn by girls, and are known as
nagetum. For a similar ring, see 1934.8.78.
