Description: 
A Rek Dinka lamb sacrifice involving the placing of a sacrificed animal on the top of a tall pole as an offering to God and to impetrate rain. 
The carcass would be left to be eaten by birds. 
The man in the foreground is identified as Malondit, possibly a ritual leader, named after a Dinka spirit.
