Description:
A small group of youths sit in the shade of a tree, possibly close to the lake at Faddoi, with a dog in the foreground (often used for hunting). The standing youth has thiau armrings on his left arm and a roughly made bow in his right. Although not known for using such a hunting weapon, this image does suggest the occasional use of it among the Nuer. It is possible that it is here being used in the context of fishing.
