Description:
The District Officer's building in Gogrial, who from 1948 until 1953 was Ranald Boyle (known in Dinka as tim atiep or the shading-tree, which in turn is a metaphor for the black macar cattle colouring). The structure adjoining to the left is Boyle's office, and the end towards the right was his bedroom.
