Description:
A large Dinka cattle byre under construction, showing a mud wall, interior sleeping platform for men folk and upper ring to support rafters, two of which have been laid across. Cattle are kept in such shelters at night with dung fires burning to keep away biting insects. [CM 05/07/2006]
