Description:
Thesiger's Nuer porters cutting the trophy head from a buffalo shot by Thesiger. Buffalo was considered by Thesiger one of the Nuer's favourite meats alongside hippo, and the meat from such kills was shared with his many porters. Malo and Idris Daud stand to the right.
