Description:
Thesiger's Nuer porters standing with another servant holding a gun, probably Malo, over a shot lion. Malo was Thesiger's interpreter as well as an enthuastic and skilled shot and accompanied Thesiger on his daily hunts. Thesiger's horse can also be seen to the left.
