Men dressed in European shorts and vests dance in the foreground to the accompaniment of clapping by young women and youths sitting in a semi-circle around them. Besides wearing beaded head and neck ornaments with their body cloths, several of the youths are wearing spectacles or sunglasses. This group seem to be associated with a mission or other colonial establishment, the brick building of which can be seen in another image behind the group.
