Description:
A three-quarter length portrait of a young woman wearing a textile body cloth, as well as strings of beads around the neck (probably gifted by a male admirer), head covering and feather plume. The smoking of tobacco was also popular among women at this time. Two other women stand in the background, their arms around each other's shoulders.
