Description:
A woman, girl and smaller children sit underneath a shelter or granary on a mat, with some crops, probably ground-nuts, on the floor nearby. In the section of cultivation seen beyond are stalks of ripening millet. Since groundnuts and some millet were harvested in August and September, this suggests that these women are taking a break from harvesting activity probably during the hottest part of the day.
