Description:
A three-quarter length portrait of a Mandari soldier in uniform of the Anglo-Egyptian Condominium authority (1899-1955) with a woman wearing a checked waist cloth and arm and neck ornaments, looking towards him. On her chest is a cicatrice design. They are both standing in front of a layered-thatch hut with loosely-woven cane walls [camera fault to left of frame].
