Description:
A three-quarter length portrait of two young Mandari women standing in a homestead, both wearing sets of bead strings around their necks, as well as textile body wraps. Such bead strings were often given to young women by courting male youths, who wear such rem beads as a way of denoting their age grade grouping and for display.
