A full length portrait of a youth from the rear, his hair straightened and probably tinged red.
next to him sits a woman and a child stands close by.
To the left can be seen the awning of Evans-Pritchard's tent with a deck chair, and to the right and small stake-walled enclosure, possibly to house Evans-Pritchard's few cattle that he owned during his 1935 fieldwork.
