Description:
In the foreground cattle stand tethered in the kraal, one being led away from its tethering peg by a young boy. Beyond a group of men are gathered for a dance near to Evans-Pritchard's tent, visible to the right pitched close to the homesteads. The location is Yakwach camp on the Sobat River, which Evans-Pritchard revisited in 1935, where dancing occurred nearly every evening.
