Description:
A head and shoulders profile portrait of an initiated youth wearing a neck ornament (see 1998.355.13).
He is described on the print reverse as a youth of Nyueny village, where Evans-Pritchard spent 5 weeks among the Karlual section of the Leek tribe in 1936.
