A beehive-shaped wattle and mud hut thatched with grass laid on the rafters, probably in a village homestead. A person is visible at the rounded doorway, a woven grass door sitting beside it. In the foreground is a Nuer dog and the low remains of a grass windscreen facing the cattle, one of which can just be seen to the right.
