Description:
Two men with hair plastered and decorated stand in front of a black ox tethered at a cattle camp (wec) with small beehive-shaped huts beyond.
One of the men is holding a club and spear and his face is smeared with ashes and dotted white across his forehead.
Although the location is noted as Rumyiri wec, this is not one of Evans-Pritchard's main fieldwork sites and was possibly a small camp located on the Pibor in eastern Nuerland.
