Description:
A view across a wide river, possibly the Bahr-el-Gahzal or Sobat apparently from onboard a boat. In the distance the subject of the photo can just be made out, the dense clustering of huts at a village site. This may or may not be a Nuer village - the density of settlement and lack of obvious cattle byres suggests not Nuer.
