Description:
A Sudanese man in military uniform of a Sergeant major of the Anglo-Egyptian army, wearing a pith helmet and holding a turban which has the badge of a lion on the front, balanced on top of a staff. He is standing in a native Ingessana compound with a fence of interwoven sticks behind him.
