Description:
A homestead compound in the village of Pochala, with a youth and a vessel outside an open-sided shelter. Nearby is a circular enclosure possibly used for eating. Evans-Pritchard estimated the village to have a population of between 500-1000 in 1935, and although being the main settlement of the significant Jowatcuaa clan, it had no headman of its own.
