Description:
A full length portrait of a young Acholi woman in a homestead, wearing a long lip ornament.
She is also wearing numerous strings of beads around the neck as well as a collar of large cowries.
The image seems to have been taken sometime in January 1879 when Buchta travelled through Acholi country en route to Bunyoro.
