Youths sitting on a hearth at a dry-season Dinka cattle camp in the morning, probably at Bor. The ashen remains of these cattle hearths surrounded by posts can be seen dotted about the kraal, helping to keep pests at bay. The Seligmans visited villages in the Bor locality in the dry season of 1910, with Archdeacon Shaw acting as guide and interpreter.
