Description:
A group of Mandari men and youths pushing the ends of long hoeing sticks in an area of cultivation. The youth to the right may be scattering seed in the areas that have been disturbed bu the sticks. Clearing of fields for planting and then weeding was an activity that began as the rainy season came on in April or May.
