Men walking along the shore of a lake towards two trucks parked in the shade of trees. These trucks are evidently the transport used by Evans-Pritchard when crossing Nuerland in 1936 after completing a survey of the Luo in Kenya, on his way to Western Nuerland. Leaning against the trees can be seen several long harpoons, and men can be seen using them in other images.
