A view at dusk along the wide Sobat River near the mouth of the Nyanding, one of its tributaries, and where Evans-Pritchard spent about 4 weeks in 1935 with the Gaajok tribe (Eastern Jikany), especially Mancom village, the home of his servant Tiop-Lier, at the mouth of the Nyanding.
