A distant portrait of a standing woman holding a vessel with a seated girl nearby. The image seems to have been taken with the camera placed on the ground, and seems to be related to images of the gorot fertility ceremony, possibly at Nyueny village in western Nuerland where Evans-Pritchard spent 5 weeks in 1936.
