A calf stands tethered in the foreground at Yakwach cattle camp on the Sobat River with four step-thatched sleeping huts in the background with long fronds of grass extending from the roofs to take dripping rain-water away from the walls. At the entrance to one hut several children are sitting alongside a standing woman.
