A somewhat distant view of cattle and windscreens of a dry season cattle camp, taken from the position where Evans-Pritchard had pitched his tent. The location of this camp is likely to be on the Nyanding or Sobat Rivers, where Evans-Pritchard carried out research among the Lou Nuer in 1931 and 1935.
