Description:
During his three-day visit to Jebel Sillok Evans-Pritchard met with Bihega, an Aka rain-maker, who showed him the three rocks near his hut used in rain-making ritual: two smaller rocks incorporating depressions at their centre (presumably old grinding stones) and a larger rock some three feet in height called soba.
When rain was needed Bihega would pour water into one of the small rocks and light a flame in the other, keeping a vigil of seven days beside it, after which he would sprinkle water on the larger stone, calling for rain.
