Description:
A view of a treeless floodplain and marsh with a group of maribou ahead. This sort of grassy plain is characteristic of western Anuakland south of Akobo as far as Utalo on the Oboth and Nyighum on the Akobo, and may have been taken during his march back to Akobo along the Oboth in May 1935. The exact location of Ngakune is uncertain.
