Description:
A boy of Ugak village looks on as another person milks a cow from the other side into a large gourd container. Other cattle stand nearby and a large unthatched cattle byre (luak) or shelter is visible beyond. Although predominantly agriculturalists, the Anuak did keep some cattle in areas where tsetse infestation was less severe roughly westwards from Pochala village.
