Description:
An upper body portrait of a man described as a Nyamusa youth, wearing a small woven brimless hat with a feather at the top.
Around his neck is strung what looks like a hut-tax disk (no.4739).
He also had keloid designs on his chest as well as an arm ornament.
The Nyamusa are a relatively small group belonging to the Bongo-Mittu language group of Amadi district.
